Alheimer’s, Dementia, & Memory Care

Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory care is specialized long-term care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. At Royal Sunrise, we provide compassionate, personalized support in a safe and comfortable environment designed to promote dignity, independence, and the highest possible quality of life.

G-Tube Feeding & Care

G-tube (gastrostomy tube) feeding provides nutrition directly to the stomach for individuals who are unable to eat or receive adequate nutrition by mouth. At Royal Sunrise, our caregivers are trained to provide safe, attentive G-tube care, including feeding, monitoring, and daily maintenance. We also work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals who have specialized experience in G-tube management to ensure each resident receives the highest standard of care in a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.

Catheter & Ostomy Care

Catheter and ostomy care involves the safe management and maintenance of medical devices that assist with the elimination of bodily waste. At Royal Sunrise, our trained caregivers provide attentive, individualized care focused on maintaining proper hygiene, protecting skin health, reducing the risk of infection, and promoting each resident’s comfort and dignity. Wound Care

Wound care is the medical management of injuries designed to promote healing, prevent infection, and reduce the risk of complications or scarring. At Royal Sunrise, our caregivers provide attentive, supportive wound care that includes careful cleaning, appropriate dressing changes, and monitoring for signs of infection or delayed healing. When needed, we also coordinate with healthcare professionals for more advanced wound management, including debridement and treatment of chronic wounds related to conditions such as diabetes, poor circulation, or post-surgical recovery. Diabetes Management

Diabetes management involves the ongoing monitoring and support needed to help maintain safe and healthy blood glucose (sugar) levels. At Royal Sunrise, our caregivers provide attentive, individualized assistance to help residents follow their prescribed care plans, including medication support, routine monitoring, and coordination with healthcare professionals.

The goal of diabetes management is to help prevent sudden fluctuations in blood sugar, support daily well-being, and reduce the long-term risks associated with diabetes, including complications affecting the heart, nerves, and kidneys. We focus on consistent daily routines, proper nutrition support, and careful monitoring to ensure each resident receives safe, reliable, and compassionate care in a comfortable and supportive environment.

Developmentally Disabled Association (DDA)

In Washington State, the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) is a division of the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) that provides funding and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At Royal Sunrise, we are committed to offering compassionate, individualized care for residents who may qualify for DDA-related support services, ensuring they receive a safe, structured, and supportive living environment.
